We are a state of the art, specialist breast centre dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast disease. All aspects of breast surgery from therapeutic treatment of breast cancer to reconstruction and cosmetic procedures are managed by our experienced and dedicated surgeons. Dr de Viana also manages surgical aspects of benign and malignant thyroid disease.

Our Approach

We provide a holistic approach to cancer care with a comprehensive on site team including nurses, radiologists and allied health staff. We work closely with other  well-established multidisciplinary teams including medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, and pathologists.

We have well established surgical treatment pathways within the private system through Pindara Private Hospital.

Our Philosophy

Queensland BreastCare Centre has been helping patients for over 20 years with breast care established in 2000 by Dr de Viana.

The dedicated BreastCare team have cared for over 18,000 patients over this time, establishing a respected reputation in the community and continuing to prioritise a commitment to patient centred best practice and outcomes. Patient safety, optimal outcomes and reflective practices are core to our mantra. We aim to provide an environment to help our patients with their decisions and treatment plans.

We understand that patient care and well being extend beyond any operation and we are constantly striving to support our patients throughout their sometimes difficult journey.
